Description

Chita Airport belongs to the airports of federal significance and has the status of an international airport. Airport class "V". Class "B" airfield

Availability of terminals:

Terminal of domestic air lines.

Terminal of international air lines.

Cargo terminal.

Airport complex:

The airport complex consists of two terminals: the terminal of domestic air lines and the terminal of international air lines. The airport complex is equipped with imported technological equipment that allows you to quickly, efficiently and efficiently handle luggage and serve passengers.

A change in the structure of transportation, an increase in the number of passengers served at the airport leads to the need to reorient the airport complex to service a larger volume of international traffic.

In 2014, the reconstruction of the domestic air lines terminal was completed. As part of the reconstruction, the area of check-in and inspection zones has been increased, and a new waiting room has been organized for passengers departing on domestic flights. The completion of the reconstruction of the international air lines terminal is scheduled for the second quarter of 2015.

The capacity of the runway is 10 takeoffs / landings per hour. The airfield's capabilities allow it to serve up to 240 flights per day on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

The technical capabilities of the airport make it possible to receive almost all modern aircraft, and the developed infrastructure provides a full range of services for airlines and passengers, which is a significant competitive advantage in relation to airports in neighboring regions.


Features

Due to the peculiarities of the airport's location, landing is performed only on runway 29.

Kadala Airport uses meters and pressure QFE (QNH and feet on request). FL transition - 100, the height of the transition is 1800 meters.

The conditions for departure are obtained from the Chita-Tower, the conditions for departure can be obtained in the process of launching, taxiing, ejecting.

Start up, towing / push back, taxiing is carried out under the control of Chita-Tower. In the absence of a permit, the crew of the aircraft is prohibited from moving on the platform.

Stands A, B, C are designed for the installation of helicopters of all types.

Stands 1-6, 14-16, PP 1, PP 2 are designed for the installation of Mi-8 helicopters and their modifications, helicopters of a class and size less.

Installation of aircraft A-310, A-330, B757, B767, IL-62, IL-76, Tu-204 and their modifications on stand A should be carried out only with free parking.

When stands 2, 3, 3A are occupied, taxiing from the stand A is PROHIBITED for aircraft with the index 6 on the thrust of their own engines.

When stands 3, 3A is occupied, taxiing from the stand In aircraft with the index 6 on the thrust of their own engines is PROHIBITED.

Kadala Airport has 2 start up points:

Start up pointt 1 is located on taxiway 7.

Start up points 2 is located on RD 6 between taxiway 7 and taxiway 8.

Taxiways 3, 5, 12 is suitable for taxiing aircraft below index 1 only during the daytime.

De-icing is carried out at the stand with (in case of non-working engines) or at a hold-short of runway.

The main type of instrument approach is an ILS approach. If the crew intends to make an approach using NDB, VOR, RNAV (GNSS), GLS, it is obliged to inform the Chita-Approach in a timely manner, receive confirmation and follow the scheme corresponding to the type of approach after the IAF.

RNAV approach procedures (GNSS), GLS are used for aircraft with certified equipment (GLONASS) to perform this approach at the request of the crew. If it is not possible to maintain RNAV (GNSS), GLS approach procedures, the crew is obliged to report this to the Chita-Approach and request a vectoring for arrival.

In the case of an LVP (limited visibility procedure), an escort vehicle is necessarily used at the time of taxiing the aircraft over the maneuvering area, taxiways, and it is also prohibited to take off not from the start of the runway, take-off without stopping at the executive start, take-off from runway 11, the aircraft crew reports to the ATS dispatcher about the arrival of the aircraft on the stand.

The sharply continental climate leads to pronounced seasonal migrations of birds. The main direction of bird migration is from south to northeast in spring and from north to south in autumn. The migration of birds occurs at altitudes from 50 m to 600 m, the flight speed is 70-100 km/h.
