Description

Kemerovo Airport is located 5 km south-east of the outskirts of the city of Kemerovo and 11 km from its center. It has one runway 05/23 with artificial turf of class "B" and is part of the federal airport of Class 3. The airport has the status of "International" and is allowed to service international flights.

The airport is used for the joint basing of aviation: the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Defense. The economic management and operational management of the airport was transferred to the administration of the Limited Liability Company "Kemerovo International Airport named after Alexey Arkhipovich Leonov", which is the operator of the Kemerovo airfield on the basis of the certificate of the operator of the civil aviation airport.

Features

Kemerovo Airport uses meters and pressure QFE (QNH, feet).

In Kemerovo, with a passing component of less than 5 m/s, the "reverse start" procedure is used in priority. Runway 23 is used for departure, runway 05 is used for arrival.

Before requesting permission to fly, it is necessary to listen to Kemerovo-ATIS and establish two-way radio communication with Kemerovo-Start.

Conditions for departure can be obtained in stages (in the process of pushing / towing and taxiing).

Taxiing, pushing, towing along the maneuvering area, taxiway is carried out under the control of Kemerovo-Start.

There are no special places for processing anti-icing aircraft at the airfield, processing is carried out at stand and engine start points after pushback from stand 6 stand 7.

After departure, it is necessary to establish two-way radio communication with the Kemerovo-Approach.

For VFR flights in the CTR Kemerovo-Approach zone (Class C), it is necessary to establish permanent two-way radio communication.

During the bird migration period (spring-autumn), large concentrations of birds are recorded at altitudes of 400-1500 m. The crews of the Armed Forces should increase their vigilance and attentiveness.
