Ust-Kut Airport

UITT / UKX

Description

Ust-Kut is a regional airport 10 km north of the city of Ust-Kut, Irkutsk Region. It provides cargo and passenger transportation to Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk and oil and gas fields in the north of the Irkutsk Region. Being an airport of regional importance, it has rather high technical characteristics for this level: the airfield complex includes a reinforced concrete runway with high bearing capacity, equipped with an instrumental approach system, and the apron has a centralized refueling system and aircraft launching system.

Since 2008, with the arrival of a new effective owner represented by UTair Aviation PJSC, the process of restoration and renovation of the airport infrastructure and its material and technical base has begun; there has been a significant increase in transportation due to the increase in shift transportation to the oil fields.

Currently the airport provides reception of aircrafts of the following types: An-2, An-24, An-26, An-30 An-32, An-74, An-72, Yak-40, Yak-42, ATR-42 and its modifications, IL-114 and its modifications, Bombardier CRJ-100/200, L-410, AN-148 and its modifications, helicopters of all types.
