From Europe to Asia

One event, two parts of the World!

Dear friends, how often did you think about to which part of the World you want to fly today - Europe or Asia? But what about to fly through both of them? That is true - we have made a special event for you when you start your flight in one of airports located in Europe but your destination will be truly Asia!

Your journey will start at one of the Samara FIR airports - from 11:00 to 14:00 UTC full ATC service will be provided in Samara (UWWW), Kazan (UWKD) and Ufa (UWUU). You will then head east and approximately 2,5 hours later land at Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport (UNNT), where our colleagues from Novosibirsk FIR will be waiting for you from 13:00 to 17:00 UTC. Well, our colleagues from Ekaterinburg FIR will also help you to pass the time on the air, providing ATC for transit through their zone throughout almost the entire event.

Depending on the chosen departure airfield, please use one of the following routes:
UWWW-UNNT: PIRIK P135 BUGOT L749 BASAB T762 ABALI L158 BENAK A487 SZ W1 GOLIM
UWKD-UNNT: RIMIP L94 OKETI L158 BENAK A487 SZ W1 GOLIM
UWUU-UNNT: IPROK L749 BASAB T762 ABALI L158 BENAK A487 SZ W1 GOLIM

In order for all participants (both pilots and controllers) to fully enjoy the event, we recommend that you follow the tips below:
1) to participate in the event, please choose the type of aircraft (AC) which is fully familiar to you - remember that according to VATSIM rules, you must know all the features of the selected aircraft and be able to fly it properly;
2) due to the technical specifics of participated airfields (limited number of operations per hour), delays are possible both on departure and arrival, so 2-2.5 tons of reserve fuel on board will be more than fine;
3) you should not occupy the frequency with initial radio communication checks if you did not change any settings of the VATSIM client and/or your mic before connecting to the network;
4) do not interrupt each other on frequency and do not interfere in communication between the controller and other pilots - this only slows down the ATC and causes additional delays in service;
5) carefully listen to ATCs commands and (very important!) always comply without any delay;
6) it is possible to leave the aircraft cabin only if you get an approval from ATC you are currently working with;
7) always have at hand and draw your attention at departure and arrival charts, and do not forget to check the correct transit (IAF point) for the approach route given to you by ATC;
8) always be ready to enter holding area or make orbit if asked by ATC due to busy airspace;
9) remember that you can always change you destination to alternate airport chosen in case of a low fuel, as well as request vectors from ATC in case of problems with navigation equipment of your aircraft;
10) if for some reason you are unable to fully control your aircraft, then in order to avoid conflicts with other pilots the best solution will be to disconnect from network and continue your flight offline (but please do not connect back to the network while in the air!).

See you on 25th of September!
