Siberian VFR. Altay mountains

This Saturday, June 24, from 11-15z, we invite you to take part in an event called Siberian VFR. Altay mountains. Control will be provided for you at two airports of the Novosibirsk ACC – Barnaul and Gorno-Altaysk. Dispatching service is also possible in adjacent regional centers, Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk.

The Barnaul - Gorno-Altaysk route (UNBB-UNBG) passes over the Ob River. Along the way, you can visit the city of Belokurikha with the airport of the same name (5203N08501E). The entire route is 150 m. miles, 1.5 hours

Routes from Gorno-Altaysk (UNBG):

1) Over the Chuysky tract. The final point is Kosh-Agach Airport (4956N08837E/UNBA). Along the way, you can visit the "Martian Valley" (5003N08817E). The entire route is 220 m. miles, 2 hours.

2) Teletskoye Lake (5145N08727E). The route passes over the Teletskoye tract. One way 90 m.miles, 40 min.

3) Along the Katun River. The route starts from the Chui Tract and continues south (and then west) along the Katun River (5024N08641E). The final point is Ust-Cox Airport (5015N08542E/UNBU). The entire route is 180 m. miles, 1.5 hours.

This is a great opportunity to leave your Boeing and airbus for one day, and transfer to a small aircraft, perform a small but very pleasant journey! From a small height, admire the boundless Siberian forests, mountains, fields, rivers and see such places as Teletskoye Lake, Karakol Lakes, Belukha Mountain, look at the Mariana fields and of course feel the full power of Siberia!
