Beryozovo triangle

Friends, we invite you to take part in an event dedicated to the position of the Beryozovo approach.

This event was postponed many times for various reasons. Either there was not enough personnel, or, as they say, “there was no weather.” But all's well that ends well, right? And now, when the sun has risen, the cards have matched, the blocks have been removed, and the parking brake has been removed - we are ready to invite you to the event.

The fact is that in April of this year the “Beryozovo-approach” position was abolished, in connection with this we decided to retire it, celebrating this event online with flights in this area.

There will be 3 airfields in operation that are part of the so-called “Berezovsky (not to be confused with Bermuda) triangle.”

Beloyarsky, Berezovo and Igrim.

All three airfields are interesting in their own way.

Igrim is a dirt runway of all types of approaches, it is NDB, visual, VFR.

Berezovo - has a metal runway 1700 m long, approach is NDB, visual, VFR.

Beloyarsky - has a reinforced concrete runway, ILS approach with a heading - 164 degrees.

A huge plus will be the most beautiful sunsets over Siberian forests and rivers. There is also a very small chance of seeing taiga fauna, so keep your eyes peeled!

Berezovo and Igrim, airfields located in class G airspace. This means that instead of the usual air traffic controller, flight information service is provided. Communications with ATC is somewhat different from what you are used to. An example of the communications with ATC is at the end of this announcement.

For fans of short and VFR flights, you can operate flights between these three airports, both directly and with additional landings along the route (for helicopters). We have prepared for you small scenarios of helipads and small airfields. (see links* )

Along the route, as in reality, unstable communication is possible, and in this case you may need the help of aircraft located in the area to transmit information to the dispatcher (for example, control communication or estimated time of arrival at a point (site))

Also in our VKontakte community examples of radio communications in uncontrolled airspace have been published. Here is the link - https://vk.com/topic-194306297_44347614

Well, now that you have read the examples of communications with ATC , installed the scenarios and received the task of flying in a cozy navigator’s room while chatting with a cup of tea (you did all this, right?) - quickly jump behind the controls of your propeller-driven airliners and fly with us to discover the most beautiful world of the north!
