BEAR MEETS DRAGON

From the Moscow of the East to the Banks of the Amur!

🐉 When the Dragon meets the Bear, the skies bring us closer! 🐻

On October 24, 2026, join us for BEAR MEETS DRAGON, an international aviation event connecting two cities, two cultures, and two teams of air traffic controllers!

Our journey begins in Harbin (ZYHB), a fascinating Chinese city affectionately known as “The Moscow of the East”, a nickname inspired by its remarkable history and distinctive architectural heritage.

From there, we'll head northeast across the border into the Russian Far East, arriving in Khabarovsk (UHHH), a beautiful city on the banks of the mighty Amur River.

For this special event, Chinese and Russian air traffic controllers will join forces to provide an exciting international flying experience, featuring realistic radio communications and the atmosphere of real-world aviation.

🌍 Getting Ready for WorldFlight 2026!

And there's another great reason to join us! Very soon, participants in WorldFlight 2026, the famous round-the-world charity flight event, will be flying this very same route from Harbin to Khabarovsk!

BEAR MEETS DRAGON is the perfect opportunity to get familiar with the route, study airport procedures, practice communicating with Chinese and Russian ATC, and prepare for one of the biggest events in the virtual aviation calendar!

And while the Bear and the Dragon may look intimidating, there's no rivalry in the skies today. Instead, they're joining forces to bring two aviation communities closer together!
