The Wednesday ATC spotlight moves to Vladivostok

Our Wednesday ATC tour across the Russian Far East continues.

Each week, the Khabarovsk FIR controller team selects a new focus airport where the main traffic will gather and local positions will be staffed whenever possible. At the same time, UHHH_CTR continues to provide upper-level coverage across the entire Khabarovsk FIR.

This week, the spotlight moves to Vladivostok, UHWW / VVO.

Join us on Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00 UTC. Fly into Vladivostok, depart from it, or include it in your route across the Russian Far East. Flights from Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Korea, China, and beyond will fit perfectly into the event.

Vladivostok is always a great destination: coastal atmosphere, interesting terrain, varied traffic, and a good excuse to give UNICOM the evening off.
