Wednesday is basically a small Friday — so it is time to start the engines.

Every Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00 UTC, Khabarovsk UHHH/KHV comes online and gives you a good reason to stop talking to UNICOM.

Fly in from Vladivostok, Moscow, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Blagoveshchensk — or pretty much anywhere you like. Pick a real-world scheduled flight or make up your own route. Either way, ATC will have to deal with you when you arrive.

Bring a regional turboprop, your favourite A320, or something big enough to make the fuel planner nervous. Everyone is welcome. Just tune the right frequency, listen to your clearance and please try not to ask “Taxi to gate?” before you have even vacated the runway.

No special challenges, surprise runway closures or emergency scenarios this time. Just traffic, ATC and a few good hours of flying in the Russian Far East.
