Why Dragon Meets Tiger?
The Dragon is one of the most recognizable symbols of China — representing strength, wisdom, energy, and forward movement. The Tiger represents the Russian Far East, home of the Amur tiger, one of the most iconic symbols of Primorye and the region around Vladivostok.
In this event, the Dragon and the Tiger are not rivals — they meet in the skies to connect two countries, two aviation cultures, and two VATSIM communities.
VATRUS and VATPRC are pleased to invite pilots to a joint international event between Beijing Capital (ZBAA) and Vladivostok (UHWW).
On 05 July 2026, from 10:00 to 14:00 UTC, we will open an air bridge between China and the Russian Far East.
On one side — Beijing, the capital of China and one of Asia’s major aviation hubs.On the other — Vladivostok, Russia’s gateway to the Pacific, a city of bridges, sea views, and a unique Far Eastern atmosphere.
Pilots are welcome to fly in both directions and enjoy international coordination, live ATC coverage, and busy traffic on one of the most exciting routes in Northeast Asia.
Choose your direction, prepare your aircraft, and join us for an event where the Chinese Dragon and the Amur Tiger meet in the sky.
