Description

Nadym is an airport in the city of the same name in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug of Russia, located 9 km southeast of Nadym, one of the oldest airports in Russia.

The airport began development together with the city of Nadym, with the beginning of the study and development of the largest oil and gas fields in the region.

The base airline for the Nadym airport is the Yamal airline. It is she who performs most of the flights from this airport, both regular flights to other regions of the Russian Federation and to local destinations, including helicopter transportation. Currently, Nadym Airport cooperates with six Russian airlines that operate regular flights to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Sovetsky, Salekhard, Tyumen and other cities of the Russian Federation.

The airfield complex makes it possible to receive and send aircraft of classes 2, 3 and 4, in particular A320 / B737, An-74, Yak-40 and other, lighter air vehicles, including all types of helicopters.
