Dzemgi airport is an airport located in the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. It is situated in the northeastern part of the city, within the Leninsky District.
The name "Dzemgi" derives from a Nanai phrase meaning "wooden house"; a settlement bearing this name was once located on the banks of the Amur River. Construction of Aviation Plant No. 126 began near this settlement in 1932; the facility was later named after Yuri Gagarin (and is currently known as the Yuri Gagarin Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant).
