Every Wednesday, the DALCONTROL Far Eastern ATC team selects one or two airports across the Russian Far East, brings together a team of controllers, and invites VATSIM pilots to explore our region.

On October 28, we're heading to Kamchatka!

This week's main destination is Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (UHPP) — home to one of Russia's most spectacular airport approaches.

Landing at Yelizovo is an experience of its own! The majestic Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes, snow-covered peaks, clouds drifting across mountain ranges, and the vast Pacific coastline create a truly unforgettable flying experience.

Additional ATC coverage will also be provided at Magadan (UHMM).

Take the opportunity to fly between Magadan and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Sea of Okhotsk, or plan any other arrival or departure at our featured airports.
