Orenburg Online Evening

Orenburg Apron, good evening

Boys and girls!

On October 15, 2026, the Samara FIR of the VATRUS Division invites you to join the “Online Evening in Orenburg”* with full ATC coverage provided from 17:00 to 20:00 UTC.

According to the latest information, Orenburg has recently gained a dedicated Apron position. Since this is not something that happens every day, we are offering you an event that is equally hard to turn down!

Orenburg is the steppe capital of our vast country, a major city located on the border between Europe and Asia, famous for its traditional down shawls and rich history. It was here that Yuri Gagarin studied aviation, and Orenburg’s Airport is named in his honor.

Expect a warm welcome from the controllers of this steppe airport. Other airports within the Samara FIR will be covered by Samara Control, while lower ATC positions will be staffed whenever possible.

During the event, we also expect first online session of Danila Rodichkin on Samara Control position. Please consider flying to us to help student in his education on this responsible position.

Before your flight, please make sure to review the latest charts and current aeronautical information for the airport.

Don’t miss the opportunity to make an unusual flight to one of the largest regional cities within the Samara FIR!
