Yelizovo Airport (IATA: PKC, ICAO: UHPP) is an international airport located in 29 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kamchatka Krai, in Elizovo City.

All known types of aircraft and helicopters can be served at Elizovo airport. It is certified with ICAO CAT II and has 24 parking stands, 8 of them for heavy aircraft.

Every year thousands of travellers visit Kamchatka to see its amazing landscapes.

From higher altitudes Kamchatka looks like the Sahara desert. The only difference is that in Kamchatka the dominating factor is not sand, but rather volcanoes. There are snow-capped peaks gleaming on the horizon regardless of where you are. Kamchatka is in essence an outdoor museum of giant crags. Six areas in Kamchatka where fire breathing volcanoes are surrounded by glaciers, geysers, hot springs, waterfalls, mud pots and turquoise lakes are recognised as UNESCO world heritage sites.

The most famous volcano in Kamchatka is Klyuchevskaya Sopka. Having only emerged above ground about 7 thousand years ago, it's very young and still growing. The mountain is shaped as a regular cone, and it gets bigger with every eruption. It's already the tallest active volcano in all of Eurasia (it has an altitude of 4,750 metres at the moment, but that is constantly changing).
