Description

Sokol Airport, formally Vladimir Vysotsky International Airport (IATA: GDX, ICAO: UHMM) is an airport in Sokol in Magadan Oblast, Russia. The airport is located 50 km (31 mi) north of the Magadan city center.

In the vicinity of the city there is also the Magadan-13 aerodrome, owned by the Magadan aircraft repair plant №73 GA and the now inactive Magadan-Severny unpaved aerodrome.

Taxiing of Il-96 ACFT via TWY 3 shall be executed as follows: after vacating RWY, ACFT shall stop at junction of TWY 3 with RWY, from where ACFT shall be towed to stand 19. Taxiing of Il-96 ACFT from stand 19 onto TWY 3 and then onto RWY shall be executed under own engines power or by towing to engines start-up position abeam stand 18.
Taxiing of four-engine ACFT via TWY 1, 2, 3, 4 shall be executed under inboard engines power at reduced speed. In all cases, taxiing of ACFT under own engines power via TWY and apron shall be executed at minimum speed.
