Description

Ambrolauri Airport is located in the Lower Svaneti region in the central part of the country, 2 kilometers northeast of the city center. The airfield serves regional passenger flights on aircraft with a capacity of up to 50 people. The further expansion of the aerodrome is being discussed.

Features

There are only VFR flights at Ambrolauri. During the operation of the Ambrolauri-Information controller, local aerodrome flight information is provided. In the absence of a controller, only common flight information.

The airfield is located in the Golf airspace. All the flights to/from Ambrolauri are VFR Flights. For all flights passing through airspace of Class C a flight plan must be submitted. Contact the Ambrolauri-Information 5 minutes before crossing the borders of the area of responsibility.
