Tbilisi is the capital and largest city of Georgia. It stretched in a narrow strip for almost 30 kilometers in the valley of the Kura River and on the slopes of adjacent mountains, at an altitude of 380 – 770 meters. It occupies an area of about 725 square kilometers. The population is 1,19 million people. The capital of Georgia evokes feelings of delight and respect for the national traditions passed down from generation to generation. Love for this ancient city is sung in the works of poets, writers, musicians, artists. Everyone who has felt the welcoming atmosphere of Caucasian hospitality is fascinated by it forever.
